    Australia’s premier equestrian event takes place just a short walk from The Asser Townhouse in Adelaide’s eastern parklands. Australian and New Zealand horses participate in competition, demonstrations and other activities. The natural setting and heritage grandstand are the perfect backdrops for Cross Country including water course through Rymill Lake, Dressage and Showjumping. Exciting viewing areas include the Rymill Coonawarra Wine Bar in King Rodney Park, VIP area in Rymill Park and the Giddy Up Club on Rymill Island.

    With Adelaide positioned as Australia’s only UNESCO City of Music, the Adelaide Jazz Festival (AJF) enjoys the support of the Australian Government, City of Adelaide, the University of Adelaide, Creative Australia and the Adelaide Festival Centre. Following sell-out seasons since its Australian premier in 2018, Victorian State Ballet (VSB) are proud to present this spectacular original ballet to audiences in 2024. Within spectacular classical ballet choreographies, this version seeks to retell this magical story and to draw the audience right inside the spellbinding moments, transporting through to the very moving transformation, grand waltz and happily-ever-after final scenes.

Starring John Waters and Daniel MacPherson, Susan Hill's acclaimed ghost story comes dramatically alive in Stephen Mallatratt's ingenious stage adaptation and Robin Herford's gripping production. Britain’s second longest running play after The Mousetrap, The Woman in Black tells the story of a lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black. He engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. It all begins innocently enough, but …!

    Essentially the Adelaide Fringe, but during winter, the Fringe Cabaret Festival is an open access arts festival providing a platform for a rich and diverse range of Cabaret performers. Expect falsetto and stiletto, pop culture, Burlesque, Disney, comedy, music, art installations, shanties, drag and even wine tasting! Every ticket sold supports independent artists and metropolitan venues.

    Missy Higgins: The Second Act Tour

    Her Majesty’s Theatre | 30 & 31 May

    Missy Higgins is unveiling ‘an anniversary tour with a difference’ to celebrate 20 years since her trailblazing debut, The Sound Of White. The Second Act Tour will see Missy touring theatres nationally next autumn in a special two act show. The first set each evening will include some brand-new songs, plus a few fan favourites from early in her career, all played in stripped back, acoustic mode. After an intermission Missy will then return with her full band to perform The Sound Of White in its entirety plus some of her other hits. Don’t miss the special return of Missy Higgins.
